2. The colorful nature of Michael McGillis

   

   Michael McGillis is an artist in all trunk (forgive the pun), able to make huge piles of firewood a work of art. Wake (the title of the work) is a real trench cut trees and painted purple as if they were a new species of plant, originally installed in 2006 at the Sculpture Park in Franconia , is now in Minnesota.
